Andre A. Moore

Andreˊ Arnold Moore departed this life on Thursday, May, 9, 2019, at Anne Arundel County Hospital in Annapolis, Maryland. He was born in Easton, Maryland, on Wednesday, November 3, 1976, to Arnold Moore and Carolyn Jones. Andreˊ was better known as “Pep/Pepper”. He attended school in Queen Anne’s County, then transferred to Seaford High School, in Seaford, Delaware. In his youth, he was a member of the Grasonville’s Boys Club under the leadership of Reverend Etta Mae Moore in Grasonville, Maryland. He was also a member of Prices Male Choir under the leadership of Percy James, Jr. Andreˊ was brought up in church as a child, but ventured out on his own occasionally and would “make his rounds”. Andreˊ worked many jobs including, construction, cooking and labor positions. He worked the steamer at the Crab Deck. He also worked at Holly’s in Gransonville, Maryland, and at Wind Sails in Cambridge, Maryland. His many bosses loved him to death. He would lend a helping hand to anyone that called on him. Andreˊ had a nickname for everyone; mine was “Mom-Dukes”. When he was at my house and someone would call him on the phone and say “Where are you?”, he would say, “Where are you?- I’m riding with Mom-Dukes come get me in a few hours, a’int much going on at her house. Please”! Andreˊ loved his family and children in his own way. He loved hanging with the boys, always drawing crowds of people. He loved his cousins, Tina, Nicole, Sharna, Shaun and so many more. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Firmaine, Antoine and James Moore. Andreˊ leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Arnold Moore; mother Carolyn Jones (Sylvester); one brother, Mandrell Moore; four sisters, Janey Smith, A’Kaya Laws, Sasha Sammels and Ebony Jones; seven children, Aaron Hines, Makenz Hines, Myeisher Hudson, Monque Hudson, Andreay Moore, Aubrey Moore and Thomas Moore; six aunts, Darlene Jones, Mable Lecator, Mary Anna Lecator, Mary Felton, Valarie Cole and Cynthia Cole. Andreˊ will also be missed by so many, including Daymond, West, William, Ambross, Terry Tegal, Heather & Jasmine Moore, Alexis Hines, Nikkie, Little Big Stuff, Joanne, Miss Josephine Lynch, Linda Beach, Joyce Johnson, Candy Taylor, Dear, Angel, Keyshia, Karen Hanson, Rossie Smack and many, many more.
