Lynsie Catherine Cornish

LYNSIE’S JOURNEY Lynsie Catherine Cornish was born on September 17, 1986 to Billie Cornish and the late Wilbert Cornish, Jr. On February 25, 2023, she returned to her heavenly home. She received her education in the Wicomico County public school system. Her various jobs included Yollies Cheesecake, Hopes Helping Hands, Assistant Troop Leader of Girls Scouts volunteer, State Employees Credit Union, Wicomico County Board of Education-Specials Needs Division and Tidal Health as a Child Care Aide. In 2014, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Psychology at Salisbury University. In 2019, she received her Masters degree in Social Work at Salisbury University and in 2020 she receive her LMSW License in Maryland and Delaware as a Social Worker. Lynsie was a devoted and loving mother to her one and only daughter Amya. Lynsie attended Salisbury Evangelistic Church of Deliverance for the majority of her childhood and adult life. While there, she was a junior usher and a part of the S.E.C.D. Youth Team. She was the Honorary Secretary in the mime group called Resilience. Lynsie was a dedicated member of Youth in Praise. She enjoyed couponing, shopping with her friends and was the queen of clearance shopping. She was going to find clearance wherever she went. Most of her adventures involved her daughter and her friends. They had many excursions to places like Rehoboth, Cracker Barrel, visiting the beach at Ocean City, Go Karting, and bowling. Lynise was very adventurous and always enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoying life. Lynsie was very punctual as well as being kind-hearted, considerate and a great listener. She would always encourage people. Lynsie leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Billie Cornish; her daughter, Amya Bolling; her brother, Brennan Cornish; her grandfather, William Moore; her uncles, Frank Manuel (Pat Miller), Phillip Cornish and Gentry Moore (Almetrus); her aunts, Sheila Brent (Radford), Dorothy Williams (Calvin) and DeAandra Martin; three great aunts; one great uncle; several nephews and nieces and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Lee Cornish, Jr., her brother, Dione Cornish, maternal grandmother, Sandra Moore and paternal grandparents Wilbert and Dorothy Cornish.
