Ashley R. Cornish

Ashley Ruthann Cornish was born on Thursday, October 17, 1985 in Seaford, Delaware to Carol Laccorn and Marcus Trammell. Growing up, Ashley was an outgoing person and had a smile that would light up a room. Wherever she went she never met a stranger. Ashley always demonstrated her strong love for her family and friends. Ashley never allowed obstacles to stop her from going after her dreams and desires. Ashley attended public schools in Delaware, where she received her education. In 2003, Ashley graduated from Seaford Senior High School. While there, she remained on the honor roll, she was a member of R.O.T.C., and was a member of the cheerleading squad. In 2004, Ashley graduated from the Beauty Academy in Salisbury, Maryland. After receiving her license as a cosmetologist, she went to work for the Hair Cuttery in Rehoboth, DE. Ashley also worked for several other private salons. Her biggest dream other than being a wonderful and loving mother to her son, Ka'Marion, was to own her own salon, which she did for a while. It was called "Priceless Touch." Her last place of employment, before departing this life, was for Smart Style in Cambridge, MD and Wal-Mart, where she was a cashier. Ashley loved doing hair, and she was in pursuit of opening another salon. Preceding her in death are grandmother, Ruthann Cornish; her grandfather, Carroll Cornish and her uncle, Rayfield Cornish. Ashley departed this life on October 5, 2014. She leaves her pride and joy, one son, Ka'Marion Tommy Hall; her mother, Carole Laccorn; step-father, Thomas Laccorn of New Castle, DE; father, Marcus Trammell; step-mother, Sloan Trammell of Blades, DE; grandmothers, Cleo Stanley of Georgetown, DE and Pearl Trammell of Seaford, DE; sisters, Megan Sifford of Newark, DE, Morgan Trammell of Blades, DE, and Sierra Cornish of North Dakota; aunts, Sharon Hall of Atlanta, GA; Cynthia Morales, Annette Bivens, Emma Trammell Jenkins, Felicia Trammell and Beverly Trammell of Seaford, DE; uncles, Kenneth Stanley, Sr. and Cleophas Stanley of Seaford, DE, Craig Stanley, Sr. of Georgetown, DE, Gregory Stanley, Sr. of New Castle, DE, Keith Trammell and Glen Trammell of Seaford, DE and Tony Prattis of Newark, DE; a devoted friend, Kamar Hall (her son's father).
