Deborah "Debbie" Denise Briscoe, daughter of Herbert & Florence Briscoe, was born May 19,1958 at Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital. She departed this life suddenly on February 3, 2010 at her residence on Georgetown Road in Chestertown, Maryland.
Debbie graduated from Kent County High School in 1976. And thereafter, she completed her Associate's Degree at Chesapeake College. Over Debbie's lifetime she had a multitude of skills and was very much a people person. She was always willing to help and serve, be it her family or others in the community. She was very athletic and energetic throughout her life. Although she battled illness in her later years, her spirit remained strong. She was the definition of a free spirit.
Debbie leaves to mourn one son Brandon Dequan Briscoe of Chestertown, MD; father Herbert Briscoe and mother Florence Briscoe of Chestertown, MD; five sisters -Diana Brown (James) of Bear, DE; Dorothea Briscoe of Chestertown, MD; Pamela Robbins of East New Market, MD; Valerie Briscoe originally of Chestertown, MD; and Patricia Webb (Frank) of Orlando, FL; seven nieces - Latisha Brown of Adelphi, MD; Dina Cooper of Easton, MD; Taquia Brown of Newark, DE; Sheena Chislom (Marcus) of East New Market, MD; Tyeshia Cousins originally of Chestertown, MD; Shaina Cartwright and Shalayah McKnight of East New Market, MD; seven nephews - Demond Wilson of Orlando, FL; Devron Brown of Bear, DE; Jamal and Ryan Andrews of Orlando, FL; Jovan Ellis of Chestertown, MD; Clifton Wilson, Jr. of Chestertown, MD; and Daiquan Cousins originally of Chestertown, MD; a special aunt Mary Catherine Grinnell of Chestertown, MD; two dear friends Mary Tolliver-Starke of Baltimore, MD and Iris Jones of New Castle, DE; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
