Arnetta V. O’Ferrall of Dover, Delaware departed this life peacefully on January 6, 2010 at Envoy Nursing Home in Denton, Maryland.
Arnetta, affectionately know at “Neat” was born in Greensboro, Maryland on August 26, 1930. She was the daughter of the late David Harrison and Rose Ella Smith.
In her early years, she attended school at Booker T. Washington in Dover, Delaware and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She worked for Vernon and Dolly Ingram and Nancy Wrede for many years. She also worked for the late Bill Hughes.
“Neat” was a loving person who enjoyed playing Bingo, dancing, cooking, having fun with her grandchildren, and having outdoor cookouts with her family and many friends.
Arnetta is preceded in death by two sons, Howard Bryan and Roger Bryan of Dover, DE; one sister, Rebecca Delaney of Dover, DE; two brothers, Milford “Goldie” Ringgold, of Wilmington, DE; and Sunspot of Dover, DE.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Demby of Dover, DE; Beverly Bryan of Dover, DE; and Avis Bryan of Philadelphia, PA; one son, Michael Bryan of Dover, DE; a special niece, Mary Ann Mosley of Dover, DE; nine grandchildren; Alicia Bryan, Jermaine Demby, Yolanda & Sonya Lake, Geo Vernon, Pamela Bryan, Phylicia Bryan, Aaron Bryan and Michelle Bryan; twelve great-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, and on sister-in-law, our dear Aunt Catherine Slade.
