Obituary:
William H. Plummer (Bill) was born in Huntington, Long Island, NY on august 19, 1939. He was the second of four children. Bill fell asleep on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 with his family by his side.

He received his early childhood education at Walt Whitman High School where he play the drums and was on the wrestling team. He joined the Air Force in 1957 and retired in 1983. He worked for Kraft Foods for fourteen years and retired in 2002. Bill enjoyed watching wrestling, feeding and taking care of birds and squirrels around his house and taking rides to the beach.

He is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Evelyn Plummer.

Bill is survived and will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Maria, whom he met and married in 1962; his three wonderful children, Chevelle and Courtland Plummer, both of Dover, DE; Tuesday Newsome and her husband Robert of Viola, DE; his only granddaughter Bobbi whom he dearly called “Ant”; three sisters Janice Nesbitt of Maryland; Gail Plummer and Martha Parker, both of New York; nieces and nephews, Stacey Nesbitt and Michelle Nesbitt-Johnson of Maryland; Kippy Nesbitt of the U.S. Virgin Islands; and Danielle Plummer of New York; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Simmons, Henry Simmons (wife Barbara) of South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Gerrylease and Elouise Simmons of Philadelphia, PA; his dear friend of thirty-four years, Mr. Andrew Simmons of Dover, DE; and his childhood friend Mr. Earl Henry of New York; and a host of family and friends.
